Internationalisering VWO 6   International exchange week at Ulenhof College   Week 39 will be a busy week at our school. 42 Students from our Comenius partner schools in Europe – Campobasso in mid-Italy,  Borkenes in upper Norway and Palermo (this year our partner for 20 years!) will arrive on Saturday 19  and Sunday 20 September for the Comenius exchange week in Doetinchem. They are staying in host families. Their visit is the second part of the international activities this year: it is their turn to visit the now-V6 students who were their guests in March. The students who went on a classical journey to Greece in March will of course also be part of this. Only on Monday 21 September will there be a 2nd and a 3rd hour ‘normal’ lesson for the V6 students, while their guests will taste a few lessons of their own in a Dutch highschool.  125 Students and teachers will be involved in Project Sport: in international groups they will look at this from various angles (social, economic, biological, historical and cultural) …. and be active themselves. The language of the week will be English. During this week they will work on this project at school, explore Doetinchem, visit places in ‘de Achterhoek’ with their guests, have outdoor activities and go to Amsterdam on Thursday, have free time and fun. On Friday the week will finish with work in the morning, sports in the afternoon and a party in the evening, after which our guests leave on Saturday or Sunday having enjoyed a, hopefully, interesting and very pleasant week.   Contactpersonen mw. drs.
